Swanky’s, or Swank’s as you may know it, was a popular, now legendary Athens, Ohio bar that was always packed with people. In operation from 1972 to 1982, Swanky’s has a reputation for the notable Hip Hop bands that played there.
Swanky’s hosted performers like Iron Butterfly and Bruce Springsteen over the years, along with some of the best original music! Although Swanky’s is no longer standing, the memories made will undoubtedly keep Swanky’s spirit alive forever.
